| Tips: |
- Quite a hot marinade to use when barbecuing salmon
- If you don't like your food so hot then reduce the cayenne pepper
- Can be cooked on the barbeque or in a fry pan with a little extra olive oil
- Excellent with a salad plus a yoghurt & cucumber side dish
|
| Ingredients: |
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 salmon fillet
|
MethodMix together the paprika, cayenne, pepper, garlic and oregano. Rub this marinade into the salmon steak and put to one side. Fire up the barbeque (or frying pan), and put the spice encrusted salmon on skin-side down. Cook for 4 minutes and then turn. Cook the other side for 2 - 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
